Resin Bonded Driveways
Resin bonded driveways are a beautiful alternative to traditional gravel drives. The 3-5mm gravel is mixed with high strength resin and trowel levelled to create an incredibly hard-wearing and porous surface, negating the need for additional drainage systems. Many colours and even 'glitter' effects are available.
Tarmac Driveways
Tarmac and asphalt for use on drives, is a popular and durable surface choice and can often be laid without the need to remove the existing driveway. Although black Tarmac is by far the most common, availability of different colours gives an option to be a little different, with red or even 'Clearmac' which shows the natural colour of the aggregate.
Block Paving Drives
Modern looking and practical, block paving can be laid to various designs and using a mixture of colours to create a truly unique appearance. A once yearly 'power wash' will keep the driveway looking as new, or to enhance the colouration of the blocks, and help prevent weed and moss growth, we can weather seal the blocks using spray applied acrylic
Surface Dressed Driveways
Surface dressing, also known as 'Tar and Chip', is a process in which a hot liquid bitumen (tar) is sprayed onto a concrete or tarmac surface. The desired aggregate, typically a 6mm sized golden gravel or blue/grey granite, is spread and is bonded to the surface by the bitumen. Some loose stone remains to give a natural 'deep filled' gravel drive appearance.
